Joshua's Heart Foundation

When Joshua Williams was just 4 years old, he saw a homeless man begging for food and wanted to help. Joshua offered the man a $20 bill that had been gifted to him from his grandmother.
But he Joshua felt an intense need to do more.
What began that day grew into a nonprofit headquartered in North Miami, Florida, that has served more than 6 million meals to 700,000 people in need.
Along with fighting hunger, the Joshua's Heart Foundation educates and empowers young volunteers through a network that extends into college and adulthood.
Since its inception, the nonprofit has taught more than 60,000 volunteers real-life skills like teamwork, generosity, and organization.
It has received national attention, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017 and recognition from Pepsi, Hormel, Nickelodeon, CNN, among other organizations.
